We offer comprehensive eye exams for all ages.  We will review your medical history, evaluate your vision, and asses the health of your eye with a thorough dilated examination.

We welcome children of all ages at our clinic. Our InfantSee program allows infants between the ages of 6-12 months to receive a free eye health screening.  With the See to Learn program we provide 3 year old children a complementary vision screening also.  Call our office for more details about these two programs. 

And of course if your child has any other eye concerns we encourage you to bring them in, they will enjoy our colorful fish tank!

We can properly diagnose and manage eye conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, eye injuries, eye infections, dry eye, and eye allergies.

We are proud to provide direct access to an ophthalmologist from the world-famous Mayo Clinic.  Dr. Sunil Khanna sees patients at our clinic to prepare them for cataract surgery, and performs not only cataract surgery but also macular degeneration treatments at Winneshiek Medical Center.  Dr. Schwartz and Dr. Klocke work with him to provide all the pre-operative and post-operative care.

We also offer co-management for refractive LASIK surgery if you have interest in getting rid of your glasses and/or contact lenses.

Our doctors and technicians are trained to fit all kinds of contact lenses, even those that may be “hard to fit”, or lenses that are medically necessary. Various contact lens options include:

• Disposable daily lenses
• Multifocal lenses
• Astigmatism correction
• Rigid gas-permeable lenses
• Scleral Lenses
• Hybrid lenses

If you are struggling with a decline in your vision for any reason, we are here to help you maximize your visual potential through the use of various devices.  We partner with Winneshiek Medical Center Occupational Therapists to provide comprehensive rehabilitation care.  We will determine what your visual needs are and what magnifiers or devices will meet those needs and goals.  

Our optical boutique, Eye Catcher Frame Fashions, has nearly 1000 frames for young kids through adults to match your style and price range for your family.  They will also fit you in the appropriate lens to enhance your vision and give you the best view possible. 

If you don’t need prescription glasses, we also have all kinds of sunglasses, sports glasses, or ski goggles for your recreational needs!
